Dollar Academy regularly issues press releases, highlighting
the achievements of its pupils, particularly where such achievements
- whether sporting, charitable or competitive - are in the
public domain. It is not normally the practice of the Academy
to comment on educational, disciplinary or personal matters
concerning individual pupils, groups of pupils or staff.
The Academy is grateful for the respect shown by members
of the Press for the rights of individuals, especially when
those individuals are children.
In the event of a serious accident befalling anyone associated
with the Academy, we would generally wish to make a public
response via the Press, even if such a response can be only
of a limited nature until the facts of the situation are properly
established.
