Airports, Dollar Academy is beautifully situated in
a wide valley beneath the Ochil Hills. With its fine
classical façade and its extensive on-site playing
fields, this historic foundation offers all the advantages

from a wide surrounding area. The Academy is the United
Kingdom's oldest co-educational day and boarding school

and artistic fields. The small town of Dollar is distiguished
by its landmark feature of Castle Campbell and provides

By Road:
The best route from Glasgow is the M80/A80 then M876 to the Kincardine Bridge and then the A977, turning left on to the B913 to Dollar.
Visitors from Edinburgh can follow the M9/M876 to the Kincardine Bridge and then as above. Alternatively, after crossing the Forth Road Bridge they can travel along the M90 to Junction 4, then turn left on to the B914 to Saline, and then on the B913 to Dollar.
Visitors coming from Perth on the M90 should leave at Junction 7 and travel along the A91.
Visitors coming from Dunblane and Stirling should use the A91.
By Rail: Stirling Railway Station is approximately 25 minutes by car. Inverkeithing Railway Station is approximately 30 minutes by car.
By Air: Edinburgh Airport is approximately 45 minutes by car.
Glasgow Airport is approximately 1 hour by car.
Visitor Car Parking: Visitors should approach the Academy by turning off the A91 onto Mylne Avenue and through the Main Gate. Parking is available near the Main Entrance to the Academy. They should then report to Reception through the Bronze doors under the Greek Portico.
