At Dollar Academy, the first five years are housed in one
building which was built as a Primary School in 1936 and extended
in 1997. We have ten main classrooms along with extra space
for activities, study and administrative accommodation. Some
lessons are taught by Senior School subject teachers, often
in their departments, giving our pupils a wider range of facilities
than would normally be available to Primary School pupils.
Children generally begin our Prep 1 in the calendar year when
they become five.
