Crest Regional Finals at University of Abertay, Dundee
On Friday, April 20th, five Junior 2 pupils and five Form III pupils exhibited their Science Fair projects. They were each judged by a selection of people from all sections of academia and industry. After an action-packed day, the final winners were announced. Hannah Stewart from Form III won the Dr. Bill Bryce Trophy for her project on Turmeric and Cancer. Her project exemplified the ethos of what a Crest Science project is all about. Rebecca Chroston, also from Form III, won the Silver Crest Award and will travel down to London next year to exhibit her project on Bird Flu at the Royal Society.
