On Thursday 15th February the Higher Biotechnology class visited CXR BioSciences in Dundee. This company is an innovator in new drug discovery and a leader in the expanding group of Biotechnology industries in the UK. Pupils were able to see first hand, some of the techniques now used at the cutting edge of science. Many of the topics covered in the Higher Biotechnology course were covered in the excellent tour and discussion.
