Prep 2 pupils visited the Home Economics department to celebrate Pancake Day. They prepared a batter in groups and identified the different ingredients used to make the batter; then with the help of their teachers, they each made their own pancake. Before the pupils came to the department they learnt about hygiene and safety when working in a kitchen. During the lesson they all followed the rules carefully. The best part of the lesson was sampling the pancakes spread with jam.
