On Thursday May 10th Form I experienced the “Megabeasts” roadshow as part of their Science curriculum. Alongside a discussion about how animals are adapted to live in rainforest and desert environments, students got the opportunity to handle a variety of animals. It gave the students the chance to get really close to creatures that they may only have seen on television before. The animals included a giant millipede, tarantula, scorpion, boa constrictor, tree frog and Chinese water dragon.
