42 pupils travelled to Ulmen in Germany during the Easter holidays. Ulmen is home-stay (2 - 3 to a family) trip, as opposed to the Fellbach exchange for older pupils. In Ulmen, our pupils have breakfast/evening meal with host families, who provide packed lunches for the four all-day excursions.
These were:-
Day 1 Swimming centre – wildlife centre (with rides)
2 evening football matches against local team – Scotland Girls’ Team did a bit better than Scotland Boys!
Day 2 Tour down banks of River Rhine (with cable car lift)
Day 3 Theme park (Fantasialand)
Day 4 Sight seeing and shopping in Trier (old Roman town): evening quiz
